Bibliometric study: Pedagogical and technological innovation in the National Police of Colombia

Synopsis

With the objective of this research, we sought to analyze the conceptual trends on pedagogical innovation and technology that have been established in Colombia in the context of the National Police. For this purpose, as a method a bibliometric study was carried out taking into account documentary sources from databases such as Scopus; Web or Science, Mendeley, Redalyc and Google Scholar, in which quantitative, qualitative and thematic structure analysis categories were taken into account. As a temporal reference, the period of analysis was determined from 2010 to 2022 to recognize the thematic production related to the object of study. Regarding the results, it was possible to determine that the highest productivity of documentary sources and critical apparatus related to bibliographic references and citations, are found in countries such as the United States, Denmark, Spain, Germany, Australia, among others, implying that there is a low production. in Colombia on  the subject inquestion. By way of conclusion, it can be stated that the investigations that have been carried out on this subject in Colombia should be the object of new explorations, because from the global erspective there is a significant production, but in the Colombian and police context, it is low.
