Diagnosis of the financial skills of Students at the Carabineros Rafael Núñez School
Synopsis
This research was carried out within the framework of the project called “Financial education to acquire decision-making skills within the life project of the students of the Rafael Núñez Police School in Corozal, Sucre, which tend to minimize risks that affect the security service. police”, with the purpose of identifying the financial skills and factors that intervene in the management of economic resources of ESRAN students.
The study is a mixed descriptive-phenomenological study, an intentional sample of 273 students was selected, belonging to course 001, cohort I of 2022 from the companies Marcelino Gilibert and Carlos Holguín Mallarino, who have scholarship status and have acquired credits or financial commitments. non-vital; or not scholarship holders but who have debt to financially cover all the expenses involved in the training process as a Professional Technician in the Police Service. The information was collected through the CAF-10 instrument proposed by the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF, 2019). The need to develop qualification processes that influence decision-making about income, debt and that promotes entrepreneurial skills is concluded.
