Desafios operacionais na Colômbia para busca e localização de pessoas com equipes caninas

Em 2012, a Defesa Civil Colombiana [DCC] iniciou um protocolo com equipes caninas para encontrar pessoas em resposta a desastres. Por dez 10 anos, os binômios foram empregados em terremotos, fenômenos de remoção em massa, catástrofes de inverno, entre outros. Isso tem permitido realizar respostas de busca e resgate de pessoas vivas, detecção e extração de cadáveres e exploração de vestígios. Pretende se determinar os protocolos onde os cães farejadores humanos participam em estados de calamidade pública, identificando as variáveis que afetam durante as operações das equipes caninas (K9SAR) entre 2012 e 2022. Como resultado, em vinte e três23 intervenções operacionais analisadas , doze12 concluíram com discagem ativa, nove descartes de zona, houve uma discagem falsa e um evento sem dados; A temperatura onde se obtiveram os melhores resultados situa-se entre os 15 °C e os 25 °C, com uma humidade relativa média de 80 %, pelo que também se pode assegurar que quanto mais curtos forem os tempos de entrada na zona, mais curtos serão os possíveis ( de zero hora do evento) favorecem a maior possibilidade de sucesso nas operações. O estudo envolveu 48 cães de diferentes especialidades, cada um atendendo em média três emergências por ano cão em média; Estudos futuros são necessários para melhorar o treinamento, a certificação e o desempenho em padrões internacionais.
