Impacto do treinamento em resiliência e manejo do estresse: estudo de caso na Polícia Nacional da Colômbia

Resumo

Diariamente os profissionais de polícia devem servir e proteger a sua comunidade em um ambiente sociocultural, econômico, político e familiar cambiante, caracterizado por cidadãos cada vez mais exigentes com sus necessidades, o bom trato e vários aspectos relacionados com sua segurança. Esta dinâmica incide nos níveis de estresse, os fatores de risco pessoal e no trabalho dos profissionais da polícia. Este estudo centraliza seu objetivo na análise do impacto da estratégia de formação implementada em 76 uniformizados dedicados aos trabalhos de prevenção do delito e convivência cidadã, empregando as técnicas de respiração enfocadas no coração e coerência rápida, equipamentos inovadores  de bio retroalimentação e medição do Instituto HeartMath. Os resultados evidenciam que os uniformizados conseguiram reduzir de maneira significativa sua frequência cardíaca média, melhorando sua capacidade para respirar controladamente durante suas atividades rotineiras. Esta menor reatividade da frequência cardíaca revela um melhor desempenho policial.
