Revisão sistemática sobre características metodológicas no estudo da violência de casais em homens que têm sexo com homens

A violência em casais é um fenômeno que representa graves problemas de saúde pública e foram realizados estudos, principalmente, nas relações heterossexuais; portanto, seu estudo é menos frequente em casais do mesmo sexo. Por isso, esta revisão sistemática sintetiza os aspectos metodológicos e éticos dos estudos sobre violência em casais conformadas por gays e homens que têm sexo com homens (HSH), publicados nas últimas duas décadas no âmbito internacional. Seguindo a metodologia PRISMA, realizou-se uma busca nas bases de dados Scopus, Clarivate, EBSCO, Science Direct, Scielo e LA Referencia; assim, de um total de 292 estudos, incluíram-se 17 artigos que cumpriram com os critérios de inclusão mediante um processo de depuração dividida em quatro fases. Entre os principais resultados, predominou o uso do enfoque quantitativo, desenho não experimental e corte transversal, além da inclusão de amostras não probabilísticas e não representativas. Da mesma
forma, encontraram-se inconsistências em aspectos éticos sobre pesquisa psicológica e carência de instrumentos especializados em casais do mesmo sexo. Se discutem os resultados e implicações metodológicas, priorizando a urgência de futuros estudos orientados às necessidades e características próprias desta população.
