The National Police School of Carabineers in the municipality of Cundinamarca Facatativá to make a diagnosis on the situation of solid waste management within the institution, took the initiative to improve environmental conditions, for this reason we built a center collection. And conditions were improved to give an adequate management of solid waste coming from the school. Under these circumstances, was the need to implement a Plan of Integrated Solid Waste Management, to improve separation at source of generation and to allow a use of recyclable material, so that these residues were returned to the production cycle, so would be reduced residues that are arranged in the regional landfill.
