The organizational concept of university in the practices of institutional accreditation in Colombia

The central issue that revolves around understanding the concept of university, as an organization, underlying practices Self purposes Institutional Accreditation is addressed. Obvious concepts are located mostly in a classic systemic perspective that assumes the university as a set of inputs, processes, products, and environment; vision has fallen short and limited front and alternative paradigms emerging understanding of organizational reality universities. The notion of the university as a social tissue develops as communication network and senses, as a fusion of formal and social components such as complex systemic unity as a stage doomed to uncertainty ... in short as an organization built and is socially constructed.
